Lokkhi Terra Quintet & Friends in Concert : 8 March

A rare opportunity to get up close and enjoy core members of Lokkhi Terra, playing next to you at an intimate yet thumping evening of live music. Mixing afro latin, jazz funk and cross cultural improvisations this London-based collective are widely acknowledged as an international music force. While sharing the stage with legendary musicians around the world and playing at the largest world music festivals, they have chosen the Forge as a local stage where to connect with their town and with their fellow musicians.

Lokkhi Terra
London based Lokkhi Terra have for the last three years been tearing up the music rule book, playing their unique blend of traditions “creating new soundscapes which give London its new accent and new groove”. They have been wowing audiences across the genres, from world music’s Womad festival, to regular sell-outs at Ronnie Scotts London, to supporting the AfroCubanAll Stars at the Latin La Linea festival, Barbican, to the closing ceremony of the South Asian Games.
