Celebrate Dia de todos los Santos / Dia de los Muertos at Hootananny Brixton with The Wheel sisters + Special guests.

Live music will be performed by The Wheel Sisters (Las Hermanas Rueda) direct from the musical city of Ibague, Colombia, featuring special guests playing Folk-popular, tropical, cumbia and some originals.

Enjoy the best of the music from Colombia! The whole world knows Colombia is a country with a great musical tradition. Colombians don't just hear the music; they dance it, they sing it and they live it.

Día de Todos Santos is also known as Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead and is celebrated in Latin America and many other countries around the world with a similar versions by having special days for honoring the dead. These celebrations occur in various countries in Central and South America, Europe and Asia, where they celebrate the holiday according to their own local customs.

THE WHEEL SISTERS

Wheel sisters (Ingrid, Cindy and Betty - Las Hermanas Rueda) born in Bogotá-Colombia and grew up in Ibagué, a place among the Andes named "Musical City of Colombia". They have persevered with their musical passion transpassing frontiers and cultures playing with different bands in Colombia and now in Europe from Tropical, Colombian popular music to traditional folk and Anglo-fusion. Our traditional live bands bring the Colombian magical sounds from Cumbia, tropical, bambuco and salsa to rock and pop, a mix of Colombian local genres with modern rhythms from around the world emerged recently.

If music is your thing, here is how to enjoy the best of the music of Colombia, either folk, traditional, modern or contemporary. The whole world knows Colombia is a country with a great musical tradition. Colombians don't just hear the music; they dance it, they sing it and they live it. So much that even have a musical city: Ibague, the capital of the Tolima department. Many musicians and singers internationally recognized were born in Colombia and others half colombian in love with our culture. Join us for an special event with an unique live show that everyone will have an unique experience of different musical genres that you can hear and enjoy.

Opening show to celebrate also Dia de los Muertos the most popular tradition in Mexico by this amazing performer.
Krix Panx plays a mix of guitar, bass, wiro and beatbox combined with his loop pedals and voice to create live music on his own Anglo-Mexican way. He was also the only latino representing us in the UK as finalist at the World Boss Loop Contest in 2012
