Latinos @ EFG London Jazz Festival 2015 : 13-22 November

'The best jazz festival on the planet' (Jez Nelson, BBC Radio 3)

2,000+ artists. 300+ gigs. 50+ venues. 23 years. 1 city

This 10-day celebration of jazz is a hotly anticipated event, delivering a mix of world-class artists and emerging stars and taking the music to a massive and ever-growing audience.

Produced by Serious, the Festival has a reputation for bringing the best and freshest music to the capital, with a wide-ranging programme of concerts, commissions, club events, talks, and an expansive learning and participation programme. Already, a strand is emerging throughout the Festival that reflects the wealth and sheer variety of vocal talent in today’s jazz universe – both established stars and exceptional new talent.

Artists already announced include Andy Sheppard , Arild Andersen, Average White Band & Kokomo, Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn, Cassandra Wilson, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Dave Holland, Hiromi, Ice-T, James Farm (feat Joshua Redman, Aaron Parks, Matt Penman and Eric Harland), Jamie Cullum, Jarrod Lawson, Kamasi Washington, Keith Jarrett, Kurt Elling, Manu Katché & Ibrahim Maalouf, Marcin Wasilewski, Maria Schneider, Melody Gardot, Miroslav Vitouš ,  Nik Bärtsch, Phronesis, Terence Blanchard and many more.

Many shows sell out in advance of the festival - so make sure you don't miss your chance to see these artists. Shows already sold out include Melody Gardot, Kurt Elling, Gilles Peterson with Kamasi Washington, Gogo Penguin and Lynne Page, Steve Gadd, Courtney Pine & Zoe Rahman and two Jazz for Toddlers events.

For sold-out concerts, some seats are often released on the day of the show, so it’s worth queuing at the box office for returns about 90 minutes before the show.

We also have our latin representatives this year including Ariacne Trujillo Trio.
