Peruvian "Dia de la cancion criolla" : 31 October

Creole music is Peru’s national music and its role in Peruvian culture. Creole music is a fusion of native Peruvian, African and Spanish music. Creole Music Day is a holiday dedicated to keeping this type of music alive.

This special day you would hear the sound of guitars and the “cajón peruano”. These musical instruments give rhythm to marinera, tondero, festejo, landó, and zamacueca which are five samples of the creole music.

Happy Peruvian creole music day and Celebrate today at Marisko Restaurant with Kanti Qena & friends at Marisko Seafood Restaurant
