Latinos in London Entertainment is back for an Amazing Sunday with our #VivaLatinAmerica! series bringing the golden age of latin music to the new wave of modern latin sounds in London. This time we are back due to popular demand with #SALSABRAVA! at The Forge, Camden introducing you into the vibes of the golden age of Salsa , original Nuyorican roots with a twist from Cali, Colombia to El Callao, Peru a well known places in South America for their famous salsotecas, a treasure troves of

old-school salsa and other Latino music. Our Sunday will be supported with live music by LATINOS IN LONDON ALL STARS a musical ensemble of musicians from different latin bands based in the UK plus special guests invited for a DESCARGA! JAM closing the night. Join us and feel the rhythm of most popular latin american music of all times! Let's go Salsa Brava! Bring your maracas, cowbell and guiro and join the force!

Our salsotecas or dance floors are freestyle so you can bring your own steps and moves without getting stuck to the floor, on any case you will follow your instincts and follow the basics moves , then you will be ready to have fun. If you love latin music let's begin from the most popular Salsa dura, Salsa Vieja, Pachanga, Son, Mambo and Cha Cha Cha and join us to bring the memories of that Salsa feeling of the 70's-80's where everything started.

On the decks Latinos in London Dj Nino aka Carlitos + guests bringing strictly the best classic salsa tunes of the golden age of Salsa plus latin fusion and global beats.

*MENU: The Forge Cantina serves freshly-prepared modern British cuisine and a new latin american menu including Arepas, Tequenos, Ceviche, Argentinian steak, Chicharrones,etc.. and top quality drinks and cocktails.

The show include some of London greatest musicians playing Boogaloo, Classic Salsa, Salsa Dura and Salsa Brava bands paying tribute to the sound of Colombian Salsa, NYC’s Palladium and Fania eras. The bands plays fun, powerful and energetic salsa . This classic sound is more a tribute to older styles, like Salsa Dura, Salsa brava to heat the dance floor which features fat, brass-heavy compositions characterized by multiple percussive elements and a less romanticized, powerful, fast style.
