Joyce Moreno in Concert : 3 October

Legendary Brazilian Singer-Songwriter Joyce Moreno announces an exclusive London concert, courtesy of AGMP.

Joyce released her eponymously titled debut album in 1968 on the Philips Brazil label. After her follow up album "Encontro Marcado" in 1969 she formed a new group, A Tribo, which also featured Nelson Angelo, Toninho Horta & Nana Vasconcelos. In 1980 the landmark "Feminina" album was released featuring "Clareana" which became a national hit. The title track of this album and the beautiful "Aldeia de Ogum" were later picked up by Acid Jazz DJ's and became cult dance floor favourites.

Due to her new found fame in Europe, Joyce was signed to Far Out Recordings in 1999 and released "Hard Bossa", "Gafeira Moderna" and more great albums all the way through to the present day.

Joyce has collaborated with Milton Nascimento, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethania, Jon Hendricks, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Emilio Santiago, Roberto Menescal, Dori Caymmi, Joe Lovano, Hermeto Pascoal, Edu Lobo, Joao Donato, Elza Soares, Bugge Wesseltoft, Johnny Alf, Marcos Valle and many more.
