Gandaia Pre Carnival Night : 22 August

Gandaia Pre Carnival Night : 22 August

Maracatudo Mafua warms up for the weekend of Notting Hill Carnival and to celebrate has a fabulous lineup. Special guests Simone Sou will perform a live set with Oleg Fateev, and to bring a soulful mood Aleh Ferreira blesses the place with his voice. Plus DJ Cal Jader will be popping his tropical sounds as Mafua showcases the songs soon to be recorded!

Help the group get a extra push by getting your ticket for the night and maybe a t shirt :-) by putting a pledge on their crowd funding campaign:

All for £5 for real!

Oleg and Simone developed an unique combination between bayan and percussion, Balkan and Brazilian styles, mixing sentimental melodies and vigorous rhythms, a blend of two distinct cultures that sounds like one. Their collaboration is based on curiosity about each others musicality and possibilities , looking for new atmospheres and finding a new musical environment: unknown, but familiar and exciting.
