Tango Fire hits London

The Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires was formed in 2005 with its premiere in Singapore in April of that year. In August 2005 the show was presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was highly successful, resulting in engagements in the most prestigious venues around the world. This led to the company touring extensively over the last 8 years. Tango Fire is choreographed by critically acclaimed Argentine choreographer & dancer German Cornejo. The individual couples choreograph their own solos with German Cornejo refining the steps as is traditional in the world of Argentine Tango. Allowing the couples creative freedom creates a showcase of the 5 couples individual styles, making Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires unique in the world of Tango.

Since their formation The Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires has become a true global phenomenon and the world’s leading Tango company. With multiple sell out seasons across the USA, Europe, South Africa, Asia, Pacific, and a YouTube audience in excess of 18 million people worldwide, the art of Tango has never been so alive as through this extraordinary and dynamic dance troupe.

Tango Fire encompasses all that defines Argentine Tango; dancing which sizzles with sensuality, accompanied by the unforgettable music and song of the great Tango masters including Piazzolla, Pugliese and Gardel. As one of the worlds most popular dance forms, this exhilarating show combines the rawness and sophistication, seductive and sultry side of Tango, evoking the intoxicating passion of late night Buenos Aires.
Featuring international stars of Tango, German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi  plus a cast which includes World Tango Champions and the best dancers from the greatest Tango houses of Buenos Aires Argentina. Coupled with the sublime Choreography of lead dancer German Corneo, Tango Fire is a show not to be missed.
