Wara March 2009 Concert - Video Review

Highly Recommended WARA is a London based project fusing Cuban timba with soul, funk, Afro-Cuban grooves and pan-Latin rhythms creating a unique style of music that tastes of good vibes and rum!

("And what does the name mean??" ...Wara comes from Guara which is Cuban slang for the positive, playful energy that is characteristic of some people... The people that put you in a good mood as soon as they turn up... Yeah those ones!)

Band Members 2010: Greg Sanders Gallego (guitar, backing vox) James Crichlow (keys) Rob Shipster (drums) George Cole (bass) Taurean Antoine Chagar (sax) Nana Clara Aldrin Quaye (backing vox) Eliane Correa (lead vox, arrangements)
